I enjoyed this tour. It gave a picture not only of Neuschwantstein castle but also of Linderhoff. I enjoyed the stop in Oberammagau as well. Great little town and very picturesque in winter! All in all, you can do Neuschwanstein on your own fairly easily. But if you want to see a bit more then my advice would be take the tour.

A very nice tour. I would recommend finding someplace different to eat lunch that the restaurant the bus company suggests. It's not the best food and the dessert was the worst I've tried. The tours of the two castles were very nice, although only 30 min or so each. Overall, the tour was very nice!

Please identify all of the costs for the tour. Do not hide the entrance fees until after the booking has been made. The extra 40 E per couple is a significant surprise. Marcos is a terrific tour guide. Give him a raise!!

The tour drop off places were wonderful! We were disappointed with the sometimes over an hour wait for the bus when it was suppose to be every twenty minutes. Also, on the bus, most of the descriptions were totally in German with a brief sentence at the end of a long German explanation of what were were seeing. We expected that whatever was said in German, would be repeated in English. It's a good tour but not for English speaking people!

Very interesting Guide tour, driver is pretty good finding a way to get through busy traffic. You get to hear a lot about the fairytale king I must say. Overall would say really good value for money. Do it!!

Tour guide (Bettina) was very nice but a disappointment. It was hard to hear her comments while on tour. Also, she did not advise that we would not have a chance to use a restroom upon exiting the bus. It made several people very uncomfortable. We love Salzburg and the Lake District -- absolutely beautiful.

The time in Salzburg was the perfect amount of time to see the city. The boat trip was nice but costs extra money. The tour guide was rude to us in the morning - while we tried to make sure we were on the correct bus, he raised his voice and yelled at us while acting annoyed that we were even asking him a question. Tour is in need of a new and more friendly guide. Something is going on with the tour guides and the extra money charged during the tours. We were not given a receipt for the boat tour and we were not told the cost for each ticket. This happened on another tour - we were actually over-charged the price of admission to the salt mines in the Berchtesgaden tour. Probably will not use this tour company again.

The Harburg Castle was great! And the local tour guide was quite entertaining! As for Rothenberg, nice town; but if you have been to Kayersburg or Ricqutir, then it is much of the same thing.

WE enjoyed going to visit the Harburg fortress and then drive along the Romantic Road to Rothenburg. The town has some quaint and very old style German buildings and we loved walking around the town square.

Tour guide was well informed, friendly, and helpful. Transport coaches were clean and in good condition. These are two marvelous, historic sites. We knew less about Harburg before the tour and it exceeded our expectations. You cannot say enough about Rothenburg. It merits a return visit.

A great way to sample Munich at night with a stop off for beer and food at a famous bar. The trip to the top of the Olympic tower was a big higlight for me. Fantastic view. And a nice cocktail in a very nice live music venue was cool to finish the evening off. It is not a night club as such. Got back to drop off at midnight. A good group and well escorted. Great for those who are on their own and perhaps not adventurous to walk around a city at night.

The tour is a must.The ride from Munich Berchtesgaden is as good as the Eagle Nest. Thru out the tour you see the great views of Bavaria and see why Bavaria is the best part of Germany.

A very moving experience. I am very pleased I went and saw this place. Very dignified trip. Essentially you pay for the coach there and back to Munich. You are left to look around the site on your own, which is free to enter. Which is fine as you are briefed before getting off where to go.

This was our second trip from Munich booked through City Discovery and we were once again pleased with the arrangements. Our guides were very competent and spoke both German and English. Traveling in mid October means the weather might change from day to day - and we did have quite a lot of rain, but we got to see the castle and walked around both islands.

Innsbruck was a wonderful place to visit but the experience was spoiled by our tour guide Gizela was not very responsive to the needs of the group. We didn't get to eat until 2pm or 2:30pm. Also, it would have been enough to bring us to the shop of Swarovski without making us go through the tour of the rooms. At Swarovski, we should have had the option to just shop or tour and shop.

The tour takes too long to start. We had to wait a lot at first stop. Some buses do not have audio. The grand circle could be integrated to express circle. It is boring to change to another bus and have to wait again for the begining of another tour. But the buses are in good shape and the staff is very friendly. And we had a good surprise when we realized there was a audio in Portuguese. It was great !
